Living Life!
Last week as I was starting the day, I really noticed my breath. I took a deep breath in and then I exhaled. On the exhale I was overcome with gratitude that I was alive. There was a time not so long ago when I felt a lot different but that is a story for another time.
As often that she does, a beautiful friend of mine was suddenly on my heart and my mind. I remembered how she had loved me during a time when I couldn’t. I was also reminded that life is truly so precious… even if we don’t feel it sometimes.
I want to share with you a little about Jennifer Gardiner or “Jen Unplugged” as she was known to many; for you to see her love for life and her bigger than life attitude. It is important to see how much she loved life, and how her love for life was contagious… even to me.
Jen always talked about living life out loud, living fiercely and living in this present moment.
Lessons I learned from Jen…
It doesn’t matter how you wear the fascinator… as long as you wear it
Never be afraid to express yourself
Live like you only have today… because tomorrow is not promised and yesterday is gone
Never save your perfume, jewellery or other “special items” for a special day – today is special
Love life, it is an amazing gift
Be you, there is no one like you
Life is too short not to make the most of it
Life isn’t always grand… sometimes it can be pretty crappy but it is our attitude and gratitude that gets us through the moment, the day, the situation, whatever we may be facing.
